HAPPY ALS AWARENESS MONTH!!!

I mentioned in Episode 3 that my dad passed away from a disease called, ALS. Since then, advocating for ALS has become a passion of mine.

I lost my dad when I was a freshman in high school. When he was sick, I never thought it would get better. I was angry with God. "God are you even listening to me?" was a question I prayed often.

Did you ever go into something expecting it to be someway and it was completely different than what you envisioned? Well, for Maycee, that is what her first semester at college was like. In this episode, Maycee talks about what college life is like, what she does and does not like about college, and tips and advice she wishes she would have been told. She brings ups issues, such as faith and foundations, making friends, taking care of yourself, and staying on top of your homework.
