Discover the profound serenity that acceptance can bring into your life. Often misunderstood, acceptance is not about passivity, giving up, or apathy. Instead, it's an active process of letting go of expectations and outcomes with detachment. When we struggle with others or their actions, it's a powerful indicator that the work needed is within ourselves.
In this podcast, I delve deep into what acceptance truly IS and IS NOT. I share personal stories and experiences to illustrate these concepts, offering hope and guidance. Join me as we explore the transformative power of acceptance and how it can lead to a more peaceful and fulfilling life.

★ABOUT ME★
Recovered Alcoholic - 2007
Mom of 4, wife in a conscious spiritual relationship with my husband. I am a cyclist, tri- athlete, and tend to my sweet gardens. I have a daily practice where I connect with Devine Spirit to live in my brightest light.
It takes courage to live our most open, authentic life. It's brave to connect with our soul and source and take action on the nudges from our gut - because, it can feel naked, vulnerable, and unknown. It is BRAVE to look out OUR "stuff" and heal it.
My prayer to you is that you continue to build a life you wildly adore. You are already doing it - stop overthinking and keep stepping forward onto your soul's path.
I am grateful to be sober today because of a power greater than myself and a spiritual program of action.
Let the embers of your soul's fire be wild.

Since I was a young girl, I gave away my body as a way to prove my worth. My insides were saying, “No,” but I kept saying, “Yes.”
More than anything I wanted to be picked; I wanted to feel special.
This pattern of self-abandonment and sacrifice of my body continued for the next 30 years until I committed the ultimate act of ignoring my inner voice — I engaged in an open marriage, a decision that nearly killed me.
I continued to act in ways that took me so far away from my true self that it got to the point I didn’t even recognize myself in the mirror.
Abandoning yourself can be a small action. Or it can be a huge one like that. But until we are fully awake and connecting with our soul and higher power, it is so easy to get off of our truest path. The place where our magic is. The place where we are our brightest.
Join me in this episode of the podcast as I share the raw story of my ultimate act of self-abandonment. Sharing this isn’t something that’s easy for me but being vulnerable and my authentic self both privately and publicly is so important to me as I know that’s how we heal—hearing other peoples experiences that we can relate to.
In the podcast, I also share some helpful tools to help you get started or continue down the path to recovery. I used them as I healed from the shame-filled hopeless state of mind I’d founded myself in.
I hope you find this podcast healing as you begin (or continue) the path of recovery from abandoning yourself.

It’s time to stop spending your energy on people because you feel like you have to or because you don’t want to hurt their feelings.
Do you feel like you are evolving in a way that doesn’t include your friends? Do you want to create space in your life for your soul tribe - those people who light you up, vibrate high and support you in creating your most authentic life?
In this episode, I share with you the inventory I have created for the 5 people you surround yourself with to see if they align with the life you are building for yourself. From there, you can consciously choose how you want to move forward in that relationship.
I am done abandoning myself around friendships—no more people pleasing—no more dimming my light.

I would let anyone touch me, and I would touch anyone–anytime I wanted to. I now realize this was selfish and offensive behavior. It was later in my codependency recovery that I understood WHY I did this as well as other behaviors that revolve around not having clear and strong external boundaries.
In this episode I share about:
-how critical it is to have strong and clear external boundaries to protect ourselves and others
-how creating those boundaries creates a guide to where our “yes” and "no's” are
-identifying behavior that looks “normal” but can be offensive
-the different purposes of boundaries
-how we can be abused or abuse others when we lack boundaries
- my personal stories of how I allowed others to offend me and how I physically offended others before codependency recovery
I love this topic, and I hope you do as well!

How I define LOVE is very different from what I once did. After a divorce, lots of therapy, and what I like to call spiritual surgery – I have a new, more awakened understanding of what love really means.
However, with this deeper understanding of love, does come ramifications. Choosing love while fully awake can be a scary act.
In this episode, I share my personal story of how I came to define love, and the key ingredient I needed to choose love again.

Is it stuck in the “what if’s” – what it “could be” or what it once was?
I was the queen of living in the “Land of Potential” not reality when I was addicted to the chaos and drama of the chase to get “there,” wherever “there” was.
This week’s episode of the podcast is our final talk with relationship coach Bre Wolta in what has been a really enlightening series. We talk about living in what the relationship was or could be rather than what it actually is right now.
She shares a simple tool with us to help assess if this is a pattern you are stuck in right now and some ways to help you find yourself out of it.

Do you ever think, “I am so confused” when contemplating your relationship? If so, this could potentially be a giant red flag. Confusion in a relationship can point to unhealthy or dysfunctional patterns.
You shouldn’t be constantly confused about the circumstances of your relationship or where things stand. That’s what communication is for - at least healthy communication.
In this episode, I continue the conversation with Bre Wolta, relationship clarity coach. We discuss why confusion comes up in relationships, and she gives specific tools you can put into action RIGHT NOW if you are finding yourself in this situation (or if you find yourself there in the future).

It matters what we listen to. We are literally feeding our brains a fantasy and songs laced in codependency are spoon feeding it to us. It is time to pay attention to the narrative and get really intentional about what we are surrounding ourselves with when it comes to music.
In the episode, I list my top 7 songs that are selling us a codependent fantasy without you realizing it.
