  • Episode 42 - It's January 2022, where have we BEEN!?

So yeah... we've been gone for a while. We know that. But the important thing is, we're back. Even MORE important than that, is that we're back every MONTH! That's right, we'll be recording an episode once a month to chat about everything video game related (or, if Nick has his way, Gunpla).

Anyways, we're chatting videogames, what gets our motors running, and what we're looking forward to. Also, the best part of the show... the blatantly stolen 'Video Game 20 Questions' segment.

Have a listen and let us know what you think. What should we change, do you hate anyone's voice? Does Dan need to yell at his kids more often? We NEED to know.

  • Episode 37 - STAR WARS DAY!!!!

May The Fourth Be With You... and all that jazz.  Anyways, the guys chat about everything Star Wars.

From the movies, to the games, to the new stuff that's coming out.

LOVE the intro music that Mike made :-D

  • Episode 36 - Joystix Canada IN REVIEW - Mortal Kombat (2021) *SPOILER ALERT*

The boys chat about the latest attempt at a Mortal Kombat movie reboot. 2021's aptly named 'Mortal Kombat', directed by Simon McQuoid, who has brought us.. well.. nothing else. This is his directorial debut!

Starring a relatively unknown group of actors, with the lone exception being the amazing pharmacist from the television show Superstore 'Josh Lawson'.

How good is it? Is it nice and bloody? Does it do justice to the games? Will NON-fans enjoy it? Listen to find out!

  • Episode 35 - Joystix Canada IN REVIEW - Monster Hunter (2020) *SPOILER ALERT*

The boys chat about 2020's Monster Hunter, directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, who has brought us some... err... winners, such as a BUNCH of the Resident Evil movies, Mortal Kombat (from the 90's) and Event Horizon (which is arguably awesome actually).

Starring Milla Jovovich, Ong Bak's Tony Jaa and the original Hellboy himself, Ron Perlman.

Is it any good? How close is it to the games? Is it ok for kids? Find out everything, including a LOT of spoilers.
