Each year Temple Beth El, Temple Israel, Levine Jewish Community Center and the Foundation of Shalom Park partner with Urban Ministries to provide shelter and food for the homeless during the winter months.

Irving was kind to share part of his Holocaust story with me as the Jewish Community Commemorates the 80th Anniversary of Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass) at Temple Israel on November 7th at 7pm in partnership with Jewish Family Services of Greater Charlotte, The Butterfly Project, and The Stan Greenspon Center for Peace and Social Justice.
