“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19)
Going out to the stores yesterday. I started to look around at people. I have seen people with mask, gloves, others waiting for you to walk away so they can go by. Social distance! For a moment I thought to myself. We have come to be afraid of this thing call Coronavirus. How, if God hasn’t giving us spirit of fear. How is it we allow for fear to take over one life. Unexpected change.
Everyone is experiencing this fast-disruptive moment; We not use to a society that change rapidly. Normal human been it not train for that. Our mind it not trains for those type of change. This is the time to move on to new glorious thing and forget about the past glory. Transitions in life are inevitable. We cannot stay in the same trend forever. At some point things have to change we have to adapt and overcome our fear. Overcome our adversity. And do what the book of Isaiah 43 is saying; “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth;” I believe now is the time to disrupt our movement and move forward in God’s Glory.
