The Dolphins receive Bradley Chubb and a 2025 fifth round pick. The Broncos received the Dolphins 2023 first round pick that they acquired from the trade with the 49ers before the 2022 NFL Draft, a 2024 fourth round selection and RB Chase Edmunds. Despite being suspended for the season WR Calvin Ridley was traded by the Atlanta Falcons to the Jacksonville Jaguars, in exchange for complex draft compensation that can be worth at maximum a 2023 fifth rounder and a 2024 second rounder. Ridley is suspended through at least the 2022 season. There are conditions attached to this trade for Calvin Ridley. If he gets reinstated bye a date, it's worth a 2023 fifth, otherwise it's for a sixth. If he makes the team in 2024, it's at least a fourth. If he hits play-time milestone, it's a third If the Jaguars sign him to a long-term done, it's a second. In the most shocking trade of the NFL Trade Deadline, the Detroit Lions traded TE TJ Hockenson to division rivals the Minnesota Vikings. The Lions in exchange for TJ Hockenson will receive the Vikings 2023 second-round pick and 2024 third-round pick. Was it a smart decision for the Lions to trade one of their best players inside the division? The Pittsburgh Steelers traded WR Chase Claypool to the Chicago Bears for a second-round pick. The Chicago Bears improve their struggling receiver core with Chase Claypool who will be a nice deep threat for Justin Fields to throw the football too. What impact will Chase Claypool have on the Bears offense?

Ohio State vs Penn State was one of the Big Ten’s biggest games this College Football season. The Buckeyes beat the Nittany Lions 44-31 scoring 27 points in the fourth quarter after trailing 21-16. Quarterback Sean Clifford had several costly turnovers that cost Penn State this game. What does Penn State football have to do to beat Ohio State? Ohio State remains unbeaten and with one month left of the 2022 College Football season, the Buckeyes are in control of their Big Ten championship hopes and a spot in the College Football Playoffs.

Clemson barely escaped the hands of defeat against Syracuse beating the Orange 27-21. Clemson had 4 turnovers including one fumble in the red zone which Syracuse recovered and returned 90 yards for a touchdown. Clemson also benched quarterback DJ Uiagalelei in favor of true freshman Cade Klubnick, but what won the game for the Tigers was Will Shipley’s career performance rushing for 172 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Tiger's defense also came up big in the 2nd half forcing the Syracuse offense to punt on all their offensive possessions in the 2nd half helping Clemson get the win.

Tennessee beat Alabama 52-49 at home, to remain unbeaten. Tennessee was up 28-10 early in the second quarter before Alabama scored 18 straight points. Despite two late turnovers, the Vols offense led by star quarterback Hendon Hooker responded every time the stakes were the highest, Hendon Hooker finished the game throwing for 385 passing yards, 5 touchdowns, one interception, and 56 rushing yards. The Crimson Tide still had a chance to win in the end but their 17 penalties and fourth-quarter fumbled punt ultimately to Tennessee upsetting Alabama 52-49.

Michigan vs Penn State was one of College Football's biggest games going into week 7. Michigan however would win big 41-17 improving to 7-0 on the season. Penn State couldn't do much on offense, as the passing game struggled and freshman sensation Nich Singleton was held to just 19 yards rushing on 6 carries. The Michigan Wolverines rushing attack had over 400 yards with Donovan Edwards rushing for 173 yards and two touchdowns, while teammate Blake Corum led Michigan in carries with 28, and had 166 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Is Michigan the best team in the Big Ten? Will Penn State rebound next game against Minnesota?

Utah upset USC squeaking past the Trojans 43-42. The Utah Utes fought back from behind down 21-7 to make the game 28-21 at halftime. After halftime, the Utah Utes offense would explode for the rest of the second half and their defense would force several big stops to help the Utes complete the comeback effort. For USC their defense failed to register a single quarterback sack or turnover as they suffer their first loss of the College Football season.  

The Washington Commanders beat the Chicago Bears 12-7 on Thursday Night Football. Brian Robinson would score his first NFL touchdown which would seal the win for Commanders, after a fumbled punt by Bears wideout Velus Jones. The Commanders improve to 2-4 on the year despite a poor offensive performance as Carson Wentz failed to reach 100 yards passing and threw no touchdowns. The Chicago Bears drop to 2-4, as their offensive struggles continue scoring only 7 points as second-year quarterback Justin Fields struggled in the passing game and was sacked 5 times.
