New hope has been injected into the Miami Hurricanes Football program with the hiring of Mario Cristobal. Miami hasn't been relevant in the College Football Championship picture in two decades, but with Cristobal at the helm could that change?  Since joining the ACC the Canes have only appeared in one ACC Championship that being 2017 where they lost to Clemson 38-3. The Volunteers finished the 2021 College Football Season with a 7-6 record and the program looks to be trending in the right direction under second-year HC Josh Heupel. With QB Hendon Hooker returning under center as a dark horse Heisman contender along with leading rusher Jabari Small and leading receiver Cedric Tillman, Tennessee could be one of the biggest sleeper teams heading into the 2022 College Football Season with a shot of making a New Years 6 Bowl game. One biggest question for the Vols is the defense, which was one of the worse in College Football last year. If the Defense improves Tennessee could be in for one of their best seasons in recent memory.

The Cincinnati Bengals had one of the NFL's most underrated defenses last season. This year they return every starter with the addition of key rookies such as DB Daxton Hill, CB Cam Taylor-Britt, and DL Zachary Carter who should all have small roles in the Bengals defense this year. Cincinnati's defense could potentially be almost as good as the offense this season in 2022.

The Houston Texans drafted RB Dameon Pierce in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Florida. Dameon Pierce was a bulldozer for the Gators and despite being underutilized scored 16 total touchdowns in 2021 while averaging 5.7 YPC. Pierce is very hard to bring down when he gets in the open field despite not having elite speed or quickness, he's a powerful back that mauls his way through contact. Dameon Pierce has a great chance to become the lead back for the Texans right away as he has to compete with fellow RBs Marlon Mack and Rex Burkhead and he could have the best rookie season out of all the first year RBs.

The Cincinnati Bengals placed the franchise tag on star FS Jessie Bates, however, he hasn't signed the tag and per reports, he has no intentions of participating in OTA's and Training Camp until he gets a long-term deal. The Bengals and Bates have until July 15th to come to an agreement which is the deadline for teams to reach agreements with their franchise-tagged players. Will Cincinnati be able to extend their star safety? Will Jessie Bates be traded before the season or could he potentially sit out the 2022 NFL season?

Many people have concerns about the New England Patriots offense going into the upcoming season, with long-time OC Josh McDaniels departing for the HC job in Las Vegas the Patriots have yet to name his replacement. Coming off a great rookie season the Patriots are expecting QB Mac Jones to take a big leap in his second season, and his play will be a large factor in how well the New England offense will perform and how successful the team will be overall.

Last season was Steelers OC Matt Canada's first year calling plays for Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Steelers offense struggled to sustain drives and generate big averaging 4.8 yards per play which ranked 28th worse in the NFL last year. Despite the lackluster showing, the Steelers have a good core of skill players that could lead them to success this season such as their two Pro Bowl selections WR Diontae Johnson and RB Najee Harris. They also brought in former first-round pick Mitchell Trubisky and drafted Kenny Pickett in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft and both will compete for the starting QB job. The biggest concern for the Pittsburgh Steelers offense is how improved will the offensive line be this season as it will largely impact how much the offense improves this year.

The New England Patriots didn't make many moves in Free Agency this off-season compared to last year. One signing that has gone overlooked was bringing in former first-round pick Jabrill Peppers who was drafted 25th overall by the Browns in the 2017 NFL Draft. Peppers praised for his versatility and play-making coming out of Michigan hasn't been the player many had hoped when he was first drafted. He was traded by the Browns to the Giants in the OBJ trade and he wasn't bad during his time with New York but struggled to stay healthy tearing his ACL last season in October which effectively ended his season. With the Patriots Jabrill Peppers is a perfect fit for New Englands defense as they love having versatile players that can play multiple positions and with his skill set, he could be really productive this year if he can stay on the field and avoid injuries.

The Raiders offense was decent last year despite having poor offensive line play they were able to do enough to make the post-season due to good play from QB Derek Carr, WR Hunter Renfrow, and TE Darren Waller when he was healthy. With Josh McDaniels as Head Coach and the addition of star WR DeVante Adams, JT Sports gives his thoughts on how good he thinks the Las Vegas Raiders offense will be this season.

The Baltimore Ravens defense regressed last season after a stellar performance the year prior leading them to part ways with DC Wink Martindale and replacing him with Mike MacDonald who served as Michigan's DC last year under Jim Harbaugh. MacDonald had previously spent seven seasons on the Ravens staff before his one-year stint with the Wolverines where he guided them to one of the best defenses in College Football. Baltimore hopes he can replicate that same success this season and with the Ravens getting back healthy along with the big acquisitions of safeties Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton JT Sports feels that this team could have a top 10 defense in 2022.

Zach Wilson had high expectations going into his rookie season after being selected second overall by the New York Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft. Wilson's rookie campaign was underwhelming however going into the 2022 NFL Season New York led by GM Joe Douglas has done a great job building around the young QB improving the offensive line and wideout position. Now the question is how good will Zach Wilson be with the Jets this upcoming season?

The Longhorns had a disappointing 2021 season in Year one under Steve Sarkisian finishing with a 5-7 record, not making a bowl game, and not having a single player drafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. Going into the 2022 College Football season there is a lot of optimism bringing in a top-five recruiting class and landing several big-time transfers such as former Ohio State QB Quinn Ewers, WRs Isaiah Neyor, Agiye Hall along with TE Jahleel Billingsley, and CB Ryan Watts. Texas looks for significant improvement this season with the expectation that Quinn Ewers wins the starting QB job and lives up to the hype he had coming out of high school being tabbed as one of the greatest QB recruits ever. The Texas  Longhorns have plenty of playmakers on offense but will the defense step up? Fans of the Texas Football program are starving for a season worth cheering for, is 2022 the season that Texas will be back?
