Today, I’m reintroducing myself because over the last year I’ve been going through a tremendous transformation.
I’m sharing, being vulnerable, and being open because these are the lessons that I wish I learned when I was younger.
The word TRANSFORMATION literally means going BEYOND our Form. Beyond who we thought who could be, beyond who society thought we could be, beyond who our FAMILIES thought we could be.
I'm in a place of knowing that we’re spiritual beings have human experiences, not the other way around.

Here is another "aha" moment:
My Teacher Coach asked me “How do you think your kids see you? What do they even know about you?
I thought...they just see me as this white lady in front of them.
They knew nothing about me.
That’s when I realized the importance of sharing my own story.
We're talking about LGBTQ issues- “You told me that you might like girls, and I kinda thought you were joking… “

We're talking about Racism issues - “My first experience with racism was in college, I was one of eight black students there.” In high school, whites were minorities.
We're talking about Immigration issues - When I started high school, I didn’t know if I was going to college. Now, I’m about to finish my PhD. I was broke. My mom is an immigrant, and my dad has a 6th-grade education.
We're talking about spirituality - "Spirituality transcends gender and all of the -isms"
I LOVE talking about these big topics with people who I've been friends with forever!
Listen in, and if you enjoy, I would appreciate a positive review! Thank you!
Bee and I worked together for months and somehow, never really took the time to get to know one another. It took this podcast to reconnect and to realize how much we actually have in common. Honest conversations rooted in love, consciousness, and growth work!
The beauty of life is that the more we open up, the more we find ourselves in other people. There's always going to be someone that will say "me too". We're not alone in this journey, so stop putting on armor and while you're finding yourself, help others.
Bee has now started a non-profit called "Bee Kind" where she and a team of volunteers provide for the homeless in Miami while listening to their stories.
