The battle to #FreeFortnite continues as a judge in the case of Epic Games Vs Apple gave Epic a huge wakeup call. A few weeks ago Epic pulled the biggest move by allowing Fortnite players to purchase V-Bucks without having to go through the iOS or Google Play store. This got their popular game Fortnite removed from both stores within hours, but it all played into Epic’s hands… or so they thought. This new revelation from the judge overseeing the case has pointed out some major flaws in Epic’s reasoning, pointing at Steam, GOG, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy and many other storefronts that essentially have the same 30% cut that Apple and Google are taking.
