In this week’s lesson from Judges Chapter 6, we read about the fifth judge, Gideon. We noticed in verse 12 that God called Gideon by the name of what he would become, ‘a might man of valor (a hero)’. God sees us as who we will become also - the righteousness of God in Christ, as the head and not the tail. He sees us victorious. No matter what we look like right now, we must believe what God says about us. When God first called Gideon he was hiding and afraid yet God saw him as a hero. What if we actually believed what God says about us? We would be a force to be reckoned with.
