In our first case, our plaintiff’s ex was willing to loan her money, but only at an absurdly criminal interest rate and only if she agreed to give him her truck as security. Now, he says she never paid him back — but she says someone else gave her the money, not him! Somebody’s not telling the truth; it’s up to Judy to decide who.

In our second case, two men who are way too old to go out for a night of partying get into a scuffle over who should drive. But our defendant says that wasn’t the reason and that he was acting in pro-active self-defense. Plus, he says, the plaintiff is a con artist and this is just one more in a long line of scams. Who will the Judge decide REALLY won this scuffle?

Ultimately, of course, it’s up to us to make the most important, the most pivotal judgement. We have to decide if Judy did her job.
