Welcome back to 2008, and welcome to Judging Judy! This case comes to us from May 1st, and features cases about stolen phones and wrecked cars. We’ve got a divorced couple fighting it out and two former friends doing battle. We’ve got lots of yelling, care of Judy, too! But, will we have justice?!
That’s for us to decide, because this is the comedy podcast that finally turns the tables on America’s favorite, least favorite TV judge. This, of course, is Judging Judy.

In our first case, the plaintiff says her ex-husband stole her son’s phone and ran up a big bill. She also says he didn’t pick up their kids from day care, resulting in her getting fined. What does he say? Not much of anything — and it seems to be paying off for him, too! Which side of this broken home will Judy side with?
Our second case has a plaintiff who says her car got wrecked by a jealous girlfriend. The defendant says that it wasn’t her fault and that the plaintiff parked there at her own risk. There’s also the matter of the defendant’s boyfriend cheating on her and not wearing pants in the courtroom, but we’ll let Judy sort out that mess!
All of this, of course, leads up to the most important part of the show: when we get to Judge Judy. Because Judy shouldn’t be the only one making a ruling!
For over 25 years, Judy has cast judgement on us without nary an opportunity for us to do the same. Well, that’s over! Each week, we look at Judy’s words, her actions, her behavior, her rulings and her attitude to decide if she truly delivered justice. If so, she’s innocent. But if not, she’s guilty!
A refreshing, unique comedy podcast that re-examines culture and society through the lens of daytime TV, fans of the Doughboys, Comedy Bang Bang, Stephen Colbert, Kazuo Ishiguro and Hot Pockets will fall in love with Judging Judy. Equal parts pop culture commentary and witty take-down, Judging Judy is for fans of the original show and folks who’ve never heard of Judge Judy alike.
