Corwin and Josh use the content of their previous episode about team attendance factors (as well as some very bad geography) to best determine where they think new teams should go in each the NFL, NHL, and MLB.
In the first part of a two-part episode, Corwin and Josh explore determining what the most valuable position on a baseball diamond and football field are by the amount that the various positions are paid. We also go through picking which positions we would play given contract size, career earnings, and career length.
Corwin talks about the recent events of note from the NFL combine while Josh interjects with questions about the limited things he knows about it. Then a small around the NFL conversation finishes out the discussion.
In this episode, we look at several factors surrounding individual team's that may affect their turnout over the course of the season. Something of a primer when thinking about team attendance, think of this as the beginning of a larger discussion that will grow when we eventually begin talking about expansion teams in each sport.
Corwin and I are reunited and we head over to spend time with our friends Greg and Caroline (both rugby players) to talk about the sport of rugby, women in rugby, and women in sports in general. Greg has since retired from his playing days and is now focused on reffing rugby to stay involved. Caroline continues to play as well as serving as Women's Outreach Coordinator for her team/league.

With all the different ways to accumulate points over the course of an NHL season, Corwin and Josh try to devise a way to see who earned their points the hard way, and who was just "skating" by. Another DIY weighted equation episode, listen as the guys try to find the answer to a question no one was asking: who is the true points king in the NHL?
Corwin and Josh discuss topics from around the sports world from the past week.
We go back to baseball as the guys talk about one of the more interesting parts of constructing a lineup in baseball, the lead-off hitter. They go through a homemade formula of sorts that Josh used to create a metric that could be employed to compare lead-off hitters against each other based on the characteristics that they chose to be important. Find out who tops the list!
Corwin puts Josh out of his depth by talking through where we currently are at in the world of the College Football playoffs, where he thinks they're headed, and the implications of any changes. This discussion comes amongst continued discussion of the inevitability of an expansion in the near future.
Based on an article that both Corwin and Josh had read about trying to more accurately compare NFL Quarterbacks across the ages, in this week's analytical episode, the guys try to come up with their own means to "era adjust" QB Rating so that they could compare the Hall of Fame QB Joe Montana vs the above average starter Kirk Cousins.
