Julie Barnes | The Power of Showing Up

Listen Later

What does it really mean to show up?

In this episode, we explore the journey of Julie Barnes, an entrepreneur who built more than just businesses—she built opportunities for her community. Julie started Enterprise Doodles from her home, breeding golden doodles to help cover medical expenses for her family. But her reputation for showing up, being resourceful, and building strong relationships led to something bigger.

She was approached to help with Links Indoor Golf in Logan, a venture she initially didn’t have the funds for but made happen through her ability to connect the right people. Later, she opened her own Links Indoor Golf location in Tremonton, alongside The Sweet Score, an ice cream shop featuring Aggie Ice Cream that doubles as an event center. Now, she employs 40 local teens, teaching them real-world skills, work ethic, and financial literacy.

Julie’s story is proof that entrepreneurship isn’t just about making money—it’s about using business to give back, create jobs, and build a stronger community.
