Julie DiCaro opened her show by discussing how former MLB pitcher Mike Bolsinger has filed a lawsuit against the Astros contending the team's cheating scheme cut his career short. Bolsinger was sent down to the minor leagues after a bad outing against the Astros in 2017 and never made it back to the big leagues, and he believes that had a direct impact on his career. Later, Into the Basket podcast co-host Brad Robinson joined the show to discuss MLB considering a proposal to expand the postseason from 10 to 14 teams.

In the last hour, Julie DiCaro welcomed on Score web editor Cody Westerlund to discuss the Bulls' 125-119 loss to the Pelicans on Thursday and what to make of Chicago standing pat at the trade deadline.
