Today we're talking about the 6th house; service, daily routines, and health. Then we'll look at what's happening in the sky right now and how it touches our bodies and our habits.

On September 10th things start moving fast. In the span of about 36 hours, Mercury moves into Libra, Venus moves into Scorpio, and Uranus stations retrograde, and then the Virgo New Moon lands. That's a lot of weather to walk into at once. You're being asked to think, feel, and adapt all at the same time.

We're recording this episode, called Between the Bookends, in a little in between time. We've got two eclipses fifteen days apart, a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12th, and a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on August 27th. Different signs, different jobs, same season. Today we're taking them one at a time.

We've all heard the saying, "When one door closes, another opens." August reminds us there's value in standing in the hallway for a moment.

Discernment—not urgency—is your greatest ally.

Today we're talking about another significant collective shift in astrology: the North Node moves into Aquarius and the South Node moves into Leo.

We've spent the past 18 months with the North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo. That cycle invited us to soften our need for certainty, perfection, and control in favor of faith, compassion, imagination, and surrender.

Now the conversation changes.
