In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, Pastor Swanson shares a Sunday message titled,
Your Focus Matters
When Peter stepped out of the boat that day he didn’t think anything could take his focus off of Jesus. . .that nothing could shake his faith in his Lord.
Peter made the same mistake that we so often make. He took his eyes off of Jesus and focused on the wind and the waves around him.
Why is it that we are so prone to this same behavior?
We can very easily focus on the 1,000-foot drop-offs of life. . .the winds and the waves. . . instead of focusing on Jesus.
We can also forget to keep our eyes on Jesus when our lives are humming along without any resistance.
