Standing Strong!

The phrase standing strong certainly applies to our Christian walk.   The prophet Daniel had no interest in being thrown into a den of lions, but as we will see, he finds himself in the den for standing up for that which was right and true.
In a nutshell, the book of Daniel tells us how to live for God in a hostile environment.
Would you call the world we live in today an unfriendly environment?
It is certainly making progress in that direction.
Daniel’s example shows us that living in such an environment can be accomplished, but not without discomfort. If you don’t compromise, you are sure to experience trouble sooner or later.
The story of Daniel and the lions’ den reminds us that there is a spiritual battle raging all around us.
