Daniel Robison's Input on Today's Devotion
How many of us would have done it? I'm guessing not too many. Put yourself in Jesus's shoes (or sandals would be more appropriate). God comes to you and says, "Here's how we can save the human race." and he tells Jesus his plan. A human sacrifice? One time for all? And who's it going to be? WOW! What a load to bear. And to imagine growing up Christ knew what he was going to have to go through. Yet he still took time to save the lost, heal the sick and even raise the dead.
Even in his last days he healed a soldiers ear and cared for the thief on the cross. The selfless acts of Jesus were like no others. And the amazing thing is that he did it all just for you and me. Now that's love. Love that we will never be able to duplicate. Even the term Christian, which means Christ-like, is something that we may strive for but we will never reach. Just remember that Christ died for each and every one of us so that we may have a personal relationship with him. God has a special plan for your life. Turn to him today and turn from the evil and desires that the world puts in front of you. Get on God's track and you'll feel so much better.
