Thomas (John 11:4-16; 14:1-11; 20:24-31) A pessimist - Jesus redeems Thomas from his negative perspective and invites him to believe. Pessimists miss God showing up because they are not looking for God. We should be the greatest eternal optimists because the Good News will save people.
