Jump and Friends on Movies
Jump and Friends on Movies episodes
- #43: Prometheus (Alien prequel)
In this podcast, the "Friends" get together to talk about a really good movie this time: Prometheus.
42 min - #42: Alien vs Predator 1 & 2 (Requiem)
In this podcast, we all admit that we watched Alien vs Predator and kinda liked it....sometimes...but that our memory of watching Requeim was so horrible, that we didn't really even bother to have a rewatch of it, only mentioning what we remembered of it during our original viewing. And, ladies and gentleman, our opinion of Requiem was really, really bad. Bill, Andy, and Nija join us on this podcast.
36 min - #41: "Predators" (Predator 3) (w/Andy S., Nija, Bill B., & Ryan J.)
In this podcast, we discuss the themes and plot of "Predators." Being the third film in the "Predator" series, this movie has a well-stocked cast including Academy-Award winning Adrian Brody (from "The Pianist"). Overall, I think most of us enjoyed this movie. Let us know what you think in the comments.
56 min - #40: Batman ('89 movie) (Ryan J. & Mike S.)
In this episode, my good friend and I discuss the Batman movie from 1989 which starred Michael Keaton in the titular role of Batman. Mike knew a lot about the movie and the actors, as well as Batman's history in the comics and other media. Thank you Mike for being my guest on the show, and I look forward for more podcasts on the Batman movies and comics in the future!
1 hr 3 min - #39: Alien3 & Alien Resurrection (Ryan J., Andy S., & Bill B.)
We discuss 2 movies this time! These last two movies are the more "critically panned" movies in the Alien series (I have heard that Alien vs Predator 1 & 2 are also critically panned, but we will get to those later, I am sure).
Thanks for listening.
46 min - 25 min
- #37: Predator II (w/Andrew S., Bill B., and special guest)
In this Podcast, we talk about the plot, characters, and themes of Predator II. Starring Danny Glover, this movie was overall well-liked by our crew. Listen to find out what we thought about it.
28 min - #36: 3rd Annual Podcast Party--"The Iron Giant" (Ryan J., Bill B., Andy, S., Adam S., & new guest, Juniper)
At our 3rd Annual Podcast Party, we discuss the plot, themes, and characters of the Animated Film: The Iron Giant.
30 min - #35: Alien (w/ Ryan J., Andy S., & Bill B.)
In this episode, Andy, Bill, and Ryan discuss the themes and characters of the first Alien film.
31 min - #34: Mystic River (Ryan J. & Bill B)
In this episode, Ryan and Bill discuss the plot, themes, and characters of one of Clint Eastwood's finest films: Mystic River.

About Jump and Friends on Movies
From the publisher's feed
I am a Math Teacher and Tutor who loves Movies. But I also believe that Movies can be used as a teaching tool. I hope to learn new things myself by re-watching all of the movies I own, and just want…
to share my findings with others along the way! Sometimes I am doing podcasts "solo," but 75% of the time (or more), various good friends of mine have joined up with me on this "Movie Podcasting Adventure" (including Andrew, Mike, Adam, Jack, Vincent, and hopefully many, many more in the future!). Thank you for your time and for listening to our podcast! Godspeed!
