Welcome to Week 06 of Term 3B where we learn to talk about FIREFIGHTERS in Spanish! Each day we learn 5 new words. Today's words are:

una emergencia | (eh-mehr-HEHN-see-ah) | an emergency
el peligro | (peh-LEE-groh) | danger
peligroso | (peh-lee-GROH-soh) | dangerous
caliente | (kah-lee-EHN-teh) | hot
quemar | (keh-MAHR) | to burn
quemadura | (keh-mah-DOO-rah) | burn (injury)

Remember to have a picture to point to or an action/gesture to do when you practice repeating the words out loud! This helps your brain learn the words so much better if you 1) say the word aloud and 2) associate the word with a picture or an action.
