Chad is probably the most humble person you'll ever meet but don't be deceived, his talent is immeasurable. He has a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and Video production. Oh yeah did I mention he is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker!

Chad is driven by his passion to tell interesting and impactful stories. Whether he is doing it through songwriting (yes, he's also a musician) or video/audio work, his ability to capture emotion and convey a message is uncanny.

As a Digital Marketing Specialist for the National Music Centre - Studio Bell, he spends his time interviewing Canada's music legends and Grammy award winners - not a bad gig!

​In his spare time Chad enjoys, crazy long bike rides...like literally around the entire city, eating ice cream, laughing with friends and family, playing guitar, and singing in the Jack Lumber Band.

JUMP Music Initiative Podcast EP13 2020 with Paul Toth

Paul's background starts in television, working at CTV Calgary for many years. While this was fun, he had always wanted to have his own business. Deciding to leave the safety of a regular gig, he struck out on his own with what is now known as Advance Entertainment, a video production company. His credits include major corporations like ENMAX, TC Energy, & Safeway but much of his work was in entertainment, getting to work with big names like William Shatner, and on big projects like the 18 month run of RAIN, A Tribute to the Beatles on Broadway in New York. Most recently working on the musicals by Queen “We Will Rock You” & Foreigner “Juke Box Hero”.   

As a musician, Paul has played in a number of bands with local successes including 4 top 10 college radio songs in the 80’s (Even the Unfair) and, releasing a 5 song CD that is now considered a rare CD (Switch: First Impression) which sells for over $50US to collectors all over the world. Paul continues to play music and gigs regularly, and he is also working on recording an album. This musical passion has spread to his children which lead them & him to the School of Rock Calgary South in Douglasdale.

Crystal McGrath is a Country Pop recording artist and songwriter from Calgary, Alberta. In September 2019, she released the Room to Breathe EP, and her latest release “Game On” inspired by artists such as Maren Morris, Carrie Underwood and Christina Aguilara is out September 2020. “Game On” is a song to empower women to go after what they want, whether it be a dance at a club or going after the CEO position of a company, anything is possible if you go after it.  No stranger to the stage, Crystal has performed all around the world including gigs in Canada, USA, Mexico, UK, and Australia. She has shared the stage with Canadian Country heavyweights George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett to name a few.  Continuously working on new music and releases, follow Crystal on social media to stay up to date on the latest news.

Jenn Beaupre has been a voice coach for nearly 15 years and a singer/songwriter, recording artist and entertainer for many more. Her career highlights include a stint on Canadian Idol, playing at “Alberta House” at the 2020 Vancouver Olympics and winning the (Calgary) Stampede Youth Talent Search. She has appeared on stages across North America in is currently putting music out under her artist name, Rozette. Jenn coaches students in Calgary and across Canada and the USA.

Music has been a place of solace, joy, expression and connection for Lisa Jacobs, BMT, MTA.  As a music therapist, she hopes to create similar musical experiences for others.   Lisa’s had the opportunity to work with people of varied abilities (autism, cerebral palsy, hearing/visual impairments, brain injuries etc) in many different settings, including schools, hospitals, long term care facilities and even a maximum security prison.

Scott Henderson In his career as songwriter, vocal performance coach and musician, our music maestro Scott has toured the world. He shared the bill with artists including Boyz II Men, David Foster, Jann Arden, Brett Kissel, and Common (to name a few), and was a vocal coach for Global TV’s Canada Sings.

Scott has recorded with some of the world’s best producers including sessions at Prince’s Paisley Park Studios, and Giorgio Morodor’s Beverly Hills studios. He is the founding member of R&B vocal group, The EarthTONES (five Top 20 hits, two Juno nominations), and lead singer for the soul/funk group Souls in Rhythm.

Locally, Scott co-ran the performing arts school Theatre Works, chaired the Stampede Youth Talent Search, and served as senior vocal director and artistic director for The Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede

Amy Bishop is a creator of beautiful, exciting, vibrant, touching music!

Amy Bishop’s voice is a combination of smooth pavement and rough gravel. She can charm listeners with her sweet tones, yet stun audiences with her ability to hit any high note. Hailing from Calgary, Amy began her music career around campfires, at block parties, and in church choir.

Her passion for music has led her to collaborations with Moby and opening for April Wine, Farmer’s Daughter, and Chris Cummings. Amy “wowed” Canada with her appearance on CTV “The Launch” in 2018. This opened industry doors as she was quickly signed by both a booking agency and management company.
