Today on the Jump Podcast we have ourselves business owner, real estate investor, and networking expert, Olga Pomeransky.
Olga migrated to Israel from her homeland Russia when she was only 14 years old.
She lived and stayed in Israel, where after she graduated, got an I.T job as a programmer and worked alongside her husband (who was also into I.T)
In 2005, Olga moved to Canada with her husband. Inspired by Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad (a book she defines as the bible for business). Olga opened a bridal boutique only 2 months after moving to Canada.
The business took quite sometime to pick up. And, after 3 years of consistency and effort, it finally sprout, leading Olga and her husband to open 3 more stores.
Olga has hired different professionals to effectively run her stores, her only job she says, is to keep track on how good the business is doing, and passively earn her income.
Real Estate Investment.
After being inspired so much by Robert Kiyosaki’s philosophy, Olga and her husband decided to venture into the Real Estate world.
They found a mentor who was willing and able to guide them through the Real Estate world, and immediately started investing in different portfolios (this was way back in 2010). Through this investment, Olga was able to reach her life’s dream of early retirement. And, now at only age 40, she has multiple streams of income and total financial freedom.
Mentorship
Olga has her entire lifestyle and philosophy built around mentorship. She believes that mentors play the greatest role in helping individuals achieve the most desired outcome. Being a product of mentorship herself, Olga frequently searched for individuals online through Facebook and offers her help to the ones interested in business and real estate investment.
But it doesn’t just stop there. Because life is an endless ocean of learning, Olga also uses Facebook to search for individuals she believes can mentor her to reach even greater heights than she is right now.

Joining us on the show today, is Ryan and Shakira.
My good friend Ryan runs a ‘hub’, The Afro-Caribbean business network, where he’s a co-founder. They work with entrepreneurs of Afro-Caribbean heritage and help them with their business ideas, strategy, implementation and growth.
Ryan has tagged a student of his and entrepreneur Shakira Rouse. Shakira won the ACBN first ever grand competition with her Special Compass idea, which is an education service focused on helping students with learning disabilities and special needs.
Shakira joined the competition to put herself out there. She’s always threw herself out there whenever an opportunity comes, and always takes the ‘No’ as progress and growth towards her entrepreneurial journey. 
The program that Shakira runs is particularly interesting and dear to me, since I also experienced the same problem whilst growing up in school. Were it not for one particular teacher, Mr. Livingstone, who decided to approach my situation in a different way, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today.
The Special focus campaign.
Shakira started the special focus program because of her own personal experience. She was diagnosed with hyper learning disability when she was just at grade 2. So needless to say, it’s been a long and tough school journey for her. She struggled in all the ways she could, she worked really hard, put in the extra effort and talked to professors, but it all never seemed to help.
She confided in a friend who also had a similar problem and found out she could get help on campus with her learning problem. She signed up and got the help she needed and eventually graduated with a degree in Spanish.
Once she graduated, she went back and started on another undergraduate degree programme in French.
