Lou Olivera is currently a District Court Judge in Cumberland County, NC, having been elected in November 2012. He is the first Hispanic elected Judge in North Carolina history. 
He also presides over the Cumberland County Veterans Treatment Court since its inception and is the only combat Veteran Judge, which also serves the nation's largest combat community including Ft. Bragg, NC.
