Then God Closed The Door
During the entire time Noah built the ark, the people had thought him and his family to be crazy. He had faithfully preached for years that God was so grieved over their sin that He was about to bring a great judgment in the form of an all-encompassing flood of the earth. It would destroy everything on the earth except for Noah and his family. Day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year, as the ark was slowly built a day of grace existed for the entire world. God gave the sinful people of the earth time to repent of their sins and to honor and worship him.
