JUNKBOX

Tonights special two hour Junkbox is dedicated my friend to Donovan who, at the recording of the show, was in a coma at Highland Medical Center in Oakland, CA.

Tonight on a Very Special Two Hour JunkBox: Whats that Sound?

Whats that sound going from the sewers? It can make your teeth chatter. It sends shivers down your spine. An echo, a sonic spring, a warped chord, the fall of the American youth, the sound of oblivion. In this co-curated JunkBox, we investigate the sonic illusion called reverberation.

Special thanks to my friend Donovan P. in San Fran who helped me put the play list together.

Tonight on JunkBox: Witches, Demons, Wizards, Ghosts, and Monsters.

Are these dark creatures of campfire stories only figments of an authors overactive imagination, or, is there something more sinister an evil laying in the dark. JunkBox investigates.

Tonight on Junk Box: Jobs.

Those who dont have them want them, and those who have them, hate them.  The Junk Box explores, celebrates, and condemns, the global pandemic of serial working in three acts.

Tonight on Junk Box:

Skateboarding just an action sport which involves riding and performing tricks using a skateboard?  Or, PURE EVIL TRYING TO DATE YOUR DAUGHTERS?  Junk Box investigates.

Tonight on Junk Box:  Covers.

In popular music, a cover version or cover song, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording of a contemporary or previously recorded, commercially released song or popular song. It can sometimes have a pejorative meaning implying that the original recording should be regarded as the definitive or authentic version, and all others merely lesser competitors, alternatives or tributes (no matter how popular).

Junk Box investigates.

JUNKBOX IS GO!!!

Listen up you geeks, freaks, goofballs, spuds, weirdos, sociopaths, nurf-herders and gerbils.

Tonight on Junk Box: We remember the Cold War, in all of its fantastic glory with paranoid and disgusted music from the era, from both sides of the Iron Curtain.  Sit back, is a vodka martini, and wait for the flash.
