Jussie Smollett REMOVED From "Empire" Over FELONY Arrest. The show Empire and its head staff have made the decision to remove Jussie Smollett following his released on $100,000 bond over an alleged hoax and false police report. The actor was allegedly dissatisfied with his salary and staged the social justice incident in order to gain leverage in negotiations or to amplify his press attention. Many people on the left and far left came to his defense even without evidence but as the police continue to release new statements and evidence it is becoming increasingly clear that this may turn out to be a proven hoax.
