Confidence in the Word of God is imperative to growth and maturity. Gain a confidence in God and your confidence in His Word will only increase! His Word is only as reliable as He is!

This week we looked at God as El Elyon, which means “God Most High.” God is exalted, supreme, above all things. The heavens are his throne and the earth is his footstool; he is holy, and He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. As we get a glimpse of the glory of God, we realize the gravity of our own sin. But the Cross is the way that God Most High came down to take our sin on himself, and change our relationship with him forever. I don’t know about you, but I have come to the end of my rope before. In fact, it seems I come to the end of my rope quickly. My rope, my ability, my resource is so limited!

God never comes to the end of his. Isn’t that amazing? God is big, powerful, and infinite, He never runs out of resource! He wants us to remember his promises and his limitless resources for us. How does this change our ability to deal with our daily trials?
