Welcome back to Just A Bunch of Stuff, the podcast where I talk about everything and anything. I am your host, Nemo, and this week I am talking about something I have already explored before. The wonderful book “Cemetery Boys” written by Aiden Thomas and published in 2020 this book quite literally saved my joy for spooky season right after Supernatural ended and left me wanting more than their lack of Destiel in their almost-20 years on the air.
Cemetery Boys (2020) is an amazing story of overcoming. In the third episode of this podcast I did a recap of the entire story but I personally feel like I left unsaid a lot of things that I really wanted to talk about. Like the relationship of the characters and how well they were able to develop the personalities, or how the author only stuck to one language at a time, and even the fact that they were able to include more than one Latin-American nation in a book about Latin-American characters. It was refreshing to say the least after the mind-numbing 19th season of Supernatural. I shit a lot on that show only for it to have such a big impact on who I am today. Not going to lie I wish I could watch that last season all over again just to see if I missed anything but after what I did last year and the constant rewatching of the last three episodes I decided that for my own mental health I would never rewatch that last season.
