The problem that I am addressing is that schools perpetuate the school to prison pipeline through policies and curriculum that are put into place that have a direct effect on the students. I want to explore the ways that teachers and students participate in resistance. I will use my personal experiences to explore how I perform teacher resistance and examples from my students and their resistance to create cultural production.
On todays episode of Just an Ordinary Introvert I will be interviewing Ms. Kacvinsky an English high school teacher at Central High Continuation. She will enlighten us with her knowledge of being an ELA teacher for the past 19 years, and provide us with some insight on how it is teaching reading and writing on Zoom and in the classroom.
