We finally got to work on recording a second season. Today I talked with Gisele unbeknownst to the other two kids.

I talked to the kids today and gave them a brief quiz on what they've learned in school: I'm not impressed. I returned to work two weeks ago. It has been an adjustment on both ends to say the least!!

It is been a good while since we recorded. In fact, it's been exactly a month!

Does anybody actually read the show notes? If they do, my next episode is going to feature my wife. :-) My guess would be that Gisele is going to have some bones to pick when she finds out that we did this without her too.

Today we celebrated Gisele's eighth birthday! I can't believe that she's eight years old. She's still the baby to me! I wonder if I'll ever stop thinking that way? @Jimmi_d3 on Twitter

Just a quick update to say happy birthday to JC! He is 11 years old today!

It's been a while since we recorded but are doing it now.

I've decided that I'm going to start asking the children "What did you learn in school this week?"  I modified it because I don't want them to have to think about everything that they learned but I'd like to know at least one thing. :-)

I got the full complement of kids in the room after struggling for almost a month to get anybody in here!

I didn't have the option of talking to any of the kids today. Instead I make a few comments about what it's like to be doing this while we are all stuck at home.

The kids got off school early today and are making a bunch of noise!
