Welcome to out Premier League Midseason Review! In this 2-part podcast, we look back at our original Premier League table predictions and how they compare to the current standings, and predict how the rest of the season will look like!

A strange weekend in a number of ways brings up a multitude of debates and important conversations. Fergal and Ali are here for it, including a mini-rant about "That Other Spaniard", a proper one about refereeing, and a wider discussion about the Premier League's coronavirus protocols.

With Ali out due to final exams, and Harry out due to rage against Arsenal, Chelsea Men Fergal and George are left with their creative freedom. So what do they do? You might've guessed it..

It's a good little roundup of the Premier League action of the past weekend, and a look at Chelsea's mini-dip in form that sees them 3rd in a truly 3-horse race for the title. Fantasy updates at the end of it too - including a surprise or two!

Just Ali and Fergal this week, recording on the Tuesday of GW14 of the Premier League and reflecting on how Leeds United's late, late win over Crystal Palace and and an unwelcome draw for both Newcastle and Norwich means for the relegation battle. We also discuss Chelsea's rollercoaster of a week, dismantling Juventus, missing opportunities to defeat Man United, then running into a brick wall in the contract negotiations with Antonio Rudiger, who looks set to leave on a free.

The past week was packed with wondergoals - even two of them coming in the EFL could be Puskas award contenders in Ali's eyes! One of this week's screamers caused Milan a setback in their title charge, and another guided Real Madrid towards taking nocharge in La Liga with a (lucky?) win against Sevilla.

And Everton are Vanilla. Enjoy!

He has indeed. And Man United have probably never looked more hapless in their planning.

Harry, Ali, and Fergal are here to discuss what's next for the red side of Manchester, and analyze the possible recruits linked to the vacant role. And also, how and why is the whole situation so weird? A JAFP Derby happened this past weekend, as Ali's Liverpool swept Harry's Arsenal aside. Clearly, things went right for Liverpool after a mini-dip in form, and Ali's observed the impact of the international break. Harry, meanwhile, tries to make sense of the result, and takes the positives while acknowledging the negatives.

And Fergal has swooped in once again with yet a new bit, while George threw eggs on all of our faces with his choice on Just Another Fantasy Pick!

When pundits and critics bemoaned the international break and the World Cup qualifier format, they should've at least thought of some of the results of this break, the backstories, and the possibilities of massive names missing out. There was Mitrovic sending Serbia to Qatar, then there's Portugal and Italy having to play out a playoff. There's the Man in the Mirror story, Ivory Coast crashing out of contention and African qualifiers being generally brutal, and much more.

On this week's episode, Fergal reflects on his experience at a full-capacity Aviva stadium watching Ireland play their part in Portugal's route to the playoffs, while possibly having a late winner harshly chalked off. After that, we reflect on some of the crazy qualifiers that unfolded in Europe, Africa, and North America in particular.

The Premier League is back this weekend, and we preview a significant gameweek as Arsenal go to Anfield with the chance to leapfrog Liverpool, and ahead of debuts for Antonio Conte, Steven Gerrard, and Dean Smith.
