Part 1 of this 3 part conversation features David Garcia (@dasangb). He's a man who immigrated to the United States at age 5 from the Dominican Republic and battled illness, tragedy, street life, betrayal and imprisonment all before the age of 25. Upon his return to the Dominican Republic after 15 years of incarceration, he rebuilt his life and became father, a mentor, a teacher, and even an interpreter for the MLB. He rose above his circumstances and became a positive, more productive version of his earlier self and continues to better himself.

He is currently a professor at a University in the Dominican Republic and a business man as well (@daelubstore).

I've known Owen Headley for over 20 years of my life. He is a charismatic, caring, big hearted, good natured human being. One of my best friends, I am proud of the man he has become and have taken this opportunity to share his story with you.
