Ben Johnson does not want to hear about it, per Brad Biggs: “Coach Ben Johnson has made it abundantly clear it’s not a topic that interests him until Gordon is ready to play football.” Biggs got direct updates from Montel Fleming, aka Moe The Foot Doctor: “So I reached out to Montel Fleming, who is working with Gordon on body alignment and injury prevention in order for the cornerback to be activated from the physically unable to perform list so he can get on the field after missing the offseason program, training camp and preseason.” From Dr. Moe: Worked with Jaylon Johnson, how he met Gordon: “I noticed some dysfunctions that was going on with Jaylon just by looking at pictures based off how he stands, how his foot angle was and how it was placed in the pictures, seeing how he was leaning on one side of his body, overcompensating....We had one session and I became his full-time specialist for the past six years.” Helped Gordon last season per Biggs: “Fleming said he helped Gordon get back on the field when he was listed on the injury report with hamstring, groin and calf issues, injuries Fleming said were related.” Blamed the Bears training staff: “Due to overcompensation. OK, so a lot of strength and conditioning coaches in these programs and these clubs think that lifting weights is the only outcome to prevent injuries and to gain strength. Well, they don’t understand that a key measure is called your myofascia. Your fascia is what allows your body to have the range of motion that it needs to have.” - Per Dr. Moe. “Kyler will be back very soon”- Per Dr. Moe. Gordon's earliest return is Week 5 vs. Green Bay.
