Answer: “I don't really feel like I'm missing out on doing things with my friends because we have a different mindset and want to do other things.

2. Do you feel pressure to compete with some of the “success” images on social media? Does it affect you?

Answer: I don't feel pressure to compete with anyone because I love to be different.

Hi welcome to episode 12 of Just B You podcast, this is your host Delia. In today’s episode I will be sharing the experience I had at The Boogie Down Grind Cafe (in Hunts Point) There's a weekly Poetry Corner Event run by Bronx Native Writers that I thought was really dope . Just imagine a space ( or actually a literal corner),where temp is just right, a warm summer breeze kisses your cheek and all the creatives collide and leave their hearts on the stage. I loved going back to the place that pretty much raised me and seeing it begin to flourish. Hunts point is growing up, the metro north is coming to town,The spofford Juvenile center finally came down . As the world reopens and more in-person events take place, let's remember to still approach things in and with Love! I feel like the pandemic showed at least to me that humanity, compassion, and empathy are very much alive and well.  If we are in a relationship with God we know and understand that God is always listening to our prayers, he is a promise keeper and he is working through you to show you who you really are. Ephesians 3: 20-21 says “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
