This week, I sit alone behind the mic. No guests, no questions... just me, tracing back to the very thing that’s always had a hold on my heart: professional wrestling.
I was five years old when my dad first sat me down to watch it. For most of my childhood, it was the only real connection we had. But it became so much more. The stories. The music. The pageantry. The emotion. The art. The experience. Wrestling taught me about character, resilience and storytelling long before I ever knew those words.
In this episode, I unpack how wrestling shaped my identity, from being that kid who believed every second of it was real, to the teenager still defending it when people kept telling me "it was fake", to the man who once tried to chase the dream for real. It’s about the love that never left, the passion I almost lost and the part of me that still believes in the magic.
If you’ve ever had something that defined you, something that you love wholeheartedly. Its a listen that will prompt you to think about WHY you love what you love.
This is Just Enamoured, a podcast about all the ways we love.

This week, Emma and I reach the final stretch of the 36 Questions That Lead to Love and sit with two prompts that really made us pause:
30 -When did you last cry in front of another person? By yourself?
These questions took us to thinking and talking about the moments we’ve let our guards down and the quiet comfort that comes from being truly seen. We also shared small things we admire in each other that we’d never said out loud as much.
Listen in, and maybe ask someone in your life these questions too, you might be surprised by what comes up.

This one’s a little personal.
In this episode, I unpack how I fell in love with teaching, the key moments that shaped me and why this job has become more than a career. It’s my calling.
The heart of this isn’t just my story. It’s the beginning of a new dialogue in creating space for others to come on Just Enamoured to share why they do what they love.
I’d love for you to listen, reflect, and maybe even start thinking about your own answer to that question:

This week, Emma and I continued with the 36 Questions That Lead to Love and sat with two prompts that pulled us in different directions—one light and affirming, the other deeply reflective:
28) Tell your partner what you like about them; be very honest this time, saying things that you might not say to someone you’ve just met.
It was so surprising challenging ourselves to find ways to affirm and complement each other on things that are often not said or brought up and it really enabled such a nuanced perspective in how we view parts of each other. This episode also pushed us to unpack some of our most significant embarrassing childhood memories and how, even years later, they still ripple through the way we see ourselves.

This is a bit of a different episode. It’s just me, sitting back and processing something I never thought I’d have: a bucks weekend.
For the longest time, I kept telling Emma and my friends that I didn’t need one, that it wasn’t really “me.” But they surprised me and what they put together was one of the most bespoke, thoughtful weekends of my life.
I wanted to take a moment here to share how it felt. The emotions that hit me after. The gratitude for my friends, my fiancée, and the kind of love you don’t always stop to notice until it’s right in front of you.
This episode is a reflection on friendship, celebration and what it means to be surrounded by people who know you better than you know yourself sometimes.

In this episode, Emma and I keep moving through the 36 Questions That Lead to Love, reflecting on two prompts that took us into honest, vulnerable territory:
26 - Complete this sentence: “I wish I had someone with whom I could share …”
These questions sound simple, but they pushed us to think about what we still want to share in our lives, the parts of ourselves we sometimes hold back, and what real friendship inside a relationship looks like.
It was grounding, a little challenging, and surprisingly affirming to pause and articulate these things out loud.
Tune in to hear how we answered and maybe take the time to try these with someone close to you too.

This week Emma and I moved onto Question 25 of the 36:
“Make three true ‘we’ statements each.
What sounds simple actually pushed us to slow down, think, and be intentional with our words. It became less about answering a prompt and more about really noticing the little truths in our relationship, things we often feel but don’t always say out loud.
It was surprisingly grounding and gave us space to affirm who we are, not just who I am or who Emma is. Those small “we” statements carried more weight than we expected.
If you’ve never done this before, try it with someone close to you. You might be surprised by what comes up.

This week, Emma and I sat down with the next two questions in the 36:
23 - How close and warm is your family? Do you feel your childhood was happier than most other people’s?
Honestly, these ones weren’t easy. They pushed us to think about our families, our upbringings, and the things that have shaped us into who we are now. We realised how different our experiences were growing up, but also how those differences play into the way we show up in our relationship today.
It was raw, vulnerable, and at times uncomfortable, but it also gave us space to see each other a little clearer.
If you’ve ever reflected on your own family or how your past shows up in your present, this episode might resonate.

In this episode, Emma and I sit with Question 22 of the 36 Questions That Lead to Love:
“Share five positive characteristics of your partner to them. Go turn by turn”
What sounds simple turned into one of the most fulfilling experiences we’ve had so far in this series. Taking intentional time to express and elaborate on the five things we love most about each other became an act of affirmation that was raw, grounding, and surprisingly emotional.
We reflect on how powerful it is to set aside space not just to feel gratitude, but to say it out loud and how much impact that has on deepening connection.
This episode is a reminder that sometimes the most straightforward questions open the biggest doors.

In this episode, Emma and I dive into Question 21 of the 36 Questions That Lead to Love:
“What roles do love and affection play in your life?”
We explore this by reflecting on how our perspectives on love and affection have been shaped by our childhoods, our upbringings and our past relationships.
We come from very different backgrounds, with different ideas of what love looks and feels like. But through those differences, we’ve found ways to understand each other, meet each other’s needs, and make our relationship work.
This conversation is as much about where we’ve come from as it is about where we’re going, unpacking what love means to each of us, how we express it and the role it plays in the way we live and connect.
