This week on Just Glen, I’m thinking out loud about bucket lists, sporting heroes and whether golf technology can actually fix a slice.
I finally tested the famous Fly Straight Golf Balls that claim to remove side spin and stop your slice. The surprising result? They might actually work.
I also ticked something off my bucket list after more than 20 years — attending the Australian Grand Prix. From the noise of the cars to the incredible atmosphere around the paddock and the shock moment when Oscar Piastri crashed before the race even began, it was an unforgettable experience.
This week’s Star of the Week is my old university mate Nick Morris, a Paralympic gold medalist in wheelchair basketball whose resilience and achievements are truly inspiring.
I also take a trip back to the 1980s school sports carnivals, remembering house colours, ribbons and the kids who seemed to win everything — and reflecting on how proud I am now watching my own kids compete and enjoy sport.
And finally, my show recommendation of the week: the political thriller The Night Agent on Netflix — a fast-paced series that’s very easy to binge.
