Brice aka @bricebowl has been on staff with YWAM Kona for the last 3 years. You would never expect this lady to have been through what she has been through even tho she’s now leading young adults (ie: Katherine) on wonderful missions trips to preach the gospel around the world! Brice shares about her struggle with depression and how it started from her childhood and lead into her teens... Freedom for her didn’t come overnight and she really had to fight for it, but the Lord really met Brice over the years and now she has been totally changed from the inside out! From being addicted to cutting and fantasizing about her death, all the way to rolling in laughter at how good God is.  Hear Brice also share a bit on her sexuality aaaannd also about how God completely healed the scars on her body from the days when she was depressed. Katherine is joined by Brittney again and they recap what the last 3 months have looked like during their Discipleship Training School with YWAM Kona! Hear about the 12 different weeks of training and what each week entailed as well as what some of their personal experiences were like. Topics include: Father heart, discipleship, racial reconciliation, and missions. Katherine and Brittney are going on outreach in the USA for a few months and now we get to wait and hear about what that will be like!

26 year old Chelsea joins the pod today and shares about how her depression and many other illnesses lead her being addicted to drugs and living in the streets of Seattle for 5 years. Eventually she found a bible in a dumpster and started to believe the words written within the book. Now it's been 5 years and her life is completeeetelly different and she loves to dance with the God that saved her. So beautiful. 

Katherine is testing the waters with a new n short JGT segment where she goes around YWAM asking people how they are encountering Jesus during their school days. This episode is specifically related to pure heart week where students had to dig into some past memories in order to receive healing in their hearts and mindsets.  Heads up tho, this week was referred to as a spiritual enema, and Katherine hops on her lil whirly keyboard and introduces things in a unique way so maybe just don't be eating snacks while hearing about what an enema is, haha.
