Section 28 was part of a law forbidding schools from "promoting homosexuality". It came into effect in 1988 and was only repealed in 2003.

Though - thankfully - the law was repealed before we started secondary school, we chat about the climate that led up to it, and its effect on us and on school kids today.

Matthew has graduated from the University of Bristol - congratulations! - so that means he unfortunately won't be co-hosting anymore. Instead, we have our lovely co-editor Clodagh filling in, who knows a lot about Section 28.

Pride - what is it good for?

Summer is Pride season, with LGBT+ protests and parades happening in towns and cities all over the world.

As a young person, what can you get out of Pride? How can you enjoy it? How can you stay safe?

We give our takes on Pride, and catch up with some young LGBT+ people at Bristol Pride 2018.

This episode is all about role models. Why have LGBT+ role models always been helpful to LGBT+ people, and who can be a role model?

We chat about our own role models - both LGBT+ and allies! And we talk to Jason, a gay University of Bristol student from Greece who tells us who he admires and why.
