The shift from being single and carefree to being in a relationship or from courtship to marriage with someone isn't always a natural and smooth transition. The dynamics change so quickly. Suddenly you begin to share your life with someone and you are accountable to them. Failure to transition in a healthy way can lead to disgruntlement in a relationship which may lead to premature termination of the relationship. Life sometimes leads us to unfavourable circumstances. A long-distance relationship is one such example.
