Just My Forte with Ben Everson

Pastor Tim Ruhl has been the pastor at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Chico, CA, for over three decades. He is known as a dynamic preacher, particularly to teenagers. I had the privilege to sit down with him for a short interview, and I know it will be an encouragement to you. He had an opportunity to become bitter over some violent circumstances in his life, but he chose to become better instead.

In this episode, we'll hear: Heavenly Sunlight, I Will Sing of the Mercies of the Lord, In Christ Alone, In the Sweet By and By, Jesus is all the World to Me, Power in the Blood, and To God Be the Glory. My family joins me in singing.

Songs this episode include: All Hail the Power, Before the Throne, How Majestic is Thy Name, I Need Thee Every Hour, I Will Sing of the Mercies, I'd Rather Have Jesus, One Day, and Ben's wife Amanda drops by to sing Til the Storm Passes By.

Sunday Night After Church. Thanks for joining me!

Sunday Night After Church. Thank you for joining me!

Welcome back! I hope tonight's episode will be a real encouragement to you.

Welcome back to another night of singing hymns from the hymnbook! I've really been enjoying these times and I hope it is the same for you. Send any requests you have to [email protected] and I'll add them to the list.

We're doing live episodes in a special way at least until the summer. Join us as Ben plays hymns from the hymnbook and sings "I'll Pray Again." May your heart be stirred!

We're changing things up a little this year to help encourage people! For the foreseeable future, I'll be live streaming a Sunday night time of worship through music. Each Monday, I'll post the stream here as an episode. Our songs include: I Will Sing of My Redeemer, In Christ Alone, I Want to Be Faithful, Fill My Cup, The Light of the World, and Hallelujah! What a Savior. You can send me requests to put on the list for the next episode.

May this be a real encouragement to you!
