The Israelites escape from Egypt and cross over the sea On dry ground. Pharaoh and his army chased after them and when they got in the middle of the sea God let the waters resume and all of his army were killed and the children of Israel were safe.

The children of Israel leave Egypt. God initiates the annual festival of Passover And provides a pillar of cloud during the daytime of their journey and a pillar of fire during the night time of their journey.

Pharaoh is finally broken. He orders all of the Israelites to leave Egypt. God gives Moses directions on how to get other people and leave the country.

God promises Moses and the children of Israel will be delivered from their bondage. God reveals his name Yahweh, the I Am. Moses resists God restate his covenant to Moses and Aaron
