Isaac deceived Abimelech as had his father Abraham. Abimelech expelled Isaac from the land. There was conflict over who owned which Wells and Isaac entered into a covenant with a Abimelech.

God makes a covenant and change his Abrams name to Abraham and Sarais name to Sarah and in that covenant Abraham will become the father of many nations
