In this chapter all of the words are the words of Jesus. He speaks of the branches in the vines he speaks of being connected to him with the promise of eternal life he also warns us about those who try to distract us.

Jesus gives us insight into how he and the father are one and how we know the father and we know Jesus. Jesus also explains his relationship through the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit is given to each of us for peace strength and understanding

Jesus heals a blind man and gives him sight, Jesus also gives him eternal life because the man who is blind can now see. Not only was his blind eyes healed but his spirit was healed as well because of the light of the world.

Jesus is our source of forgiveness and our promise eternal life. There are those who except him and will not except us but the father except us and that is our blessed hope

Jesus teaches openly in the temple declaring himself the living water which leads to eternal life

Jesus miraculously provides food for 5000 men, their wives and children, from just five loaves of bread and two small fish. The people follow Jesus because he fed them and he explained to them that was no reason to be his follower but that he alone is the true bread and drink for eternal life
