In chapter 7 ‘Paul address is the old nature that is the sinful nature and the new nature that we receive as Christ followers filled with his Holy Spirit

This is a comparison between being slaves to sin and being slaves to righteousness that is to be slaves to Jesus Christ.

In this portion of the letter Paul impresses upon us the law cannot save us but only Christ and his sacrifice can cover our sins and give us eternal life.

Paul writes to us regarding the faith of Abraham. That it was not through the law through a righteous relationship with God that we have eternal life

Paul tells us whether we are due or gentile we are covered by the sacrifice of Jesus. He explains the relationship of the law and the sacrifice of Jesus and his resurrection.

Words versus action, knowledge versus application. Paul explains or defines the difference between a Jew and Gentile with regards to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Paul introduces the gospel as available to both Jew and Gentile.Paul identifiers the sins that lead to other death and give hope to those who except Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

In the end we recognize that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. We learned that we are just aliens passing through.

The author writes about the awesomeness of God. About the end times when this earth will be taken up and we, his followers will be taken up into his glory.

This chapter is known as the hall of faith and it recounts many of those who lived in walked by faith. It is a word of encouragement
