  • How Hard Can Letting Go Really Be?

Why Releasing People, Places, and Emotions Feels So Difficult

Letting go sounds simple, yet for many it’s one of life’s greatest challenges. Whether it's a relationship, a friendship, or a familiar place, releasing what no longer serves us can feel like losing part of ourselves.

    Why Is It So Hard?

    • Fear of the unknown: Change is uncomfortable. Letting go pushes us into uncertainty, which the brain often perceives as danger.
    • Loss of identity: We define ourselves through relationships and roles. Letting go can feel like letting go of who we are.
    • Guilt and responsibility: Especially in caring roles, we may feel selfish or disloyal for choosing ourselves.
    • Emotional attachment: Memories and bonds make detachment feel like an emotional loss, not just a practical decision.

What Does Letting Go Really Mean?

Letting go isn’t forgetting or rejecting the past. It means recognizing when something has reached its time and choosing to move forward. It’s about acceptance, emotional release, and creating space for new beginnings.

    How Can We Let Go?

    • Awareness: Acknowledge what you’re holding onto – and why.
    • Grief: Allow yourself to feel sadness. It’s a natural part of release.
    • Boundaries: Choose yourself, even when it’s difficult.
    • Rituals: Small symbolic acts – like writing a letter and burning it – can support closure.
    • Patience: Healing is not linear. Be kind to yourself through the process.

What Awaits on the Other Side?

Freedom. Lightness. Clarity. When we let go, we invite growth, renewal, and a deeper connection to ourselves. We stop living in the past and begin living fully in the present.

    Final Thought

Letting go is not weakness. It’s a brave act of love – for yourself and for life. So instead of asking “How hard can it be?”, ask yourself:

“What is waiting for me, once I’m free to move on?”

  • I Wish I Could Stop Overthinking Everything

Overthinking can steal focus from what you really want to do!

    – When overanalyzing steals the joy from the present moment, it can create mental exhaustion and frustration. Every decision or interaction is dissected to the point of exhaustion, making it hard to just be. This constant overthinking can leave you feeling mentally drained, stuck in a cycle of worry and uncertainty.

    – People who overthink spend an enormous amount of energy analyzing every decision, situation, and interaction.

    They question everything:

    • "Did I say the right thing?"
    • "What if I made the wrong decision?"
    • "What do others think of me?"

This constant rush of thoughts can be exhausting and lead to you never really enjoying the present because you are constantly preoccupied with the past or the future.

  • Why Do We Changes and Transform Ourselves?

Why do we change and transform ourselves?

We change because something in us starts to whisper, "This doesn't feel right anymore." Sometimes the change comes slowly and gently. Other times it knocks us over and forces us to stop. No matter how it manifests itself, change is part of being human. It is our way of finding home within ourselves.

When the pain becomes too great

Often it starts with pain. Something breaks – in the body, in the heart or in the mind. Perhaps we have been fighting for too long. Maybe we have forgotten ourselves. And suddenly we feel it: "I can't live like this anymore." That's where the change begins. Not because we want to, but because we no longer have any other choice.

    We long to be whole

Change is not just about becoming a new version of ourselves. It is just as much about finding home – feeling who we are when we no longer play roles or live up to other people's expectations. Many women tell me that they feel away from themselves. Transformation becomes a way to find your way back. To the soul. To the truth.

Life's change invites us to feel

We also change because life changes. When the children move away from home. When we lose. When we fill up. When we wake up one morning and think, "Is this it?" Those moments open something up. They call for honesty and new elections. We are invited to feel and take steps in a new direction.

We long for meaning and peace

Many people I meet begin to ask deeper questions: What is the point? What has value? How do I really want to live? It is the soul's way of calling to us. Not with grand explanations, but with a quiet longing for authenticity, presence and purpose.

    Change as freedom

We carry so many old stories. About not being good enough. About having to do everything right. About not taking up too much space. Transformation is when we start to let go of them. When we choose ourselves – with everything we are. When we stop apologizing to ourselves. It feels like freedom.

    We change together

Even though it feels lonely, we don't walk the path alone. Sometimes it's a conversation, a session, a warm hand, or a space where we meet – that sets something in motion. We mirror ourselves in each other. We inspire each other. And when one dares to take a step, more dare.

    A journey, not a destination

Transformation is not something you are done with. It's a journey. A movement. A quiet, brave choice over and over again: to become more ourselves. To stand by what we feel. To live with more love and authenticity – not for the sake of others, but because we deserve it.

  • How important it is to take care of yourself before, during, and after illness!

Today, Neringa and I have decided to talk about how important it is to take care of yourself before, during, and after illness, and what we can learn from that process.

We will discuss how we can care for our body and mind during difficult times and how it can help us emerge stronger on the other side.

What do you think about the importance of self-care in relation to illness, and what experiences have you had in learning from such an experience?

Here are three good pieces of advice on how to take care of yourself before, during, and after illness:

    1. Take care of yourself before illness
It’s always a good idea to look after your body before you get sick. Make sure to eat healthily, drink enough water, get some exercise, and sleep well. This helps keep your immune system strong, so you’re better equipped to avoid getting sick. And don’t forget to check in with your doctor every now and then – it’s always good to stay on top of things.
    2. Listen to your body during illness and rest
When you’re sick, it’s important to allow yourself to rest. Your body needs time to recover, so make sure you get plenty of sleep, drink lots of fluids, and eat healthy if you can. Don’t push yourself too hard – getting better takes time, and it’s totally okay to take it slow.
    3. Take it easy after illness
Once you start feeling better, don’t rush back into your usual routine. Your body still needs a bit of time to fully recover. Allow yourself to rest and regain your energy. It’s also a good idea to pay attention to how you’re feeling mentally – illness can be tough on both your body and mind, so be kind to yourself and be patient.

Taking care of yourself before, during, and after illness helps you recover faster and better, and it also prepares you to handle sickness more effectively in the future.

  • What about honesty?

Why be honest and does honesty have consequences?

Today, Neringa and I have chosen to talk about honesty and what consequences it can have for ourselves and for those we are honest with.

What do you think about being honest and are there limits to when one should speak one's honest opinion?

  • When Owerwhelm Strikes - For Better or Worse

When Owerwhelm Strikes - For Better or Worse

Do you know the feeling of being completely overwhelmed? As if the world is crashing down on you with a tsunami of impressions, expectations, and tasks that seem impossible to handle? Overwhelm can creep in slowly or hit like a bolt of lightning. It can drain your energy, create restlessness, and make it hard to find peace.

But overwhelm also has another side – a positive one. It’s that feeling that arises when something is so beautiful, moving, or meaningful that it’s almost too much to take in. A breathtaking sunset. A hug from someone you love. An unexpected gesture that touches your heart.

When overwhelm becomes too much in a heavy way, it’s often due to pressure – too many demands, too many thoughts, too much happening at once. In those moments, it helps to pause, take a deep breath, and allow yourself to take one step at a time. No one can handle everything at once.
When overwhelm is positive, it’s important to allow yourself to truly feel it. To linger in those moments when life feels grand and significant. Because those moments give energy and perspective.

Whether overwhelm feels like a burden or a gift, it is a part of life. It’s not about avoiding it but about learning to navigate it. To find the balance between letting go and embracing.

    How do you handle overwhelming?
