Just Some Christian Guy

What does Jesus mean when he says not all people who confess the Lord and do works in the Lord's name will be saved?

In this episode I share some off the cuff thoughts while driving. These thoughts were focused on the double-edged sword problem of expecting too much from Christians. Does the world expect too much expertise from Christians? But alternatively do Christians expect as much from themselves as they should?

In this episode we cover the purpose and projected direction of this podcast so, you, as the listeners, will know what type of content to expect in the future. During this episode we discuss the need for Christian apologetics, the need for evangelism, and the need for keeping a Christian perspective in your daily life. *Two points I failed to mention in this episode: 1. The Christian faith is the only faith contingent on a historical event. 2. For an 'archaeological mystery' look up the pre-Cambrian explosion.

This episode was pre-recorded as a sermon at the Ogden Church of Christ, and is intended to help all those seeking God find assurance in their salvation. This lesson examines a handful of Bible passages dealing with salvation and how we can be confident in it.
