Just Swingin' It

On today's episode the boys jump into options in our educational segment "Stock Jargon with Jon." Today was an introductionary segment to begin to build a base in the complex system of options. We will continue building on our options discussion for a few weeks, hopefully helping you become a better options trader. In between our episode and discussions to learn more check out the Tasty Works (No Free Ads) video series on YouTube called "Stepping up to Options." The boy's discussed their trade moves and how the market did last week. Jon had a nice bear week and took some profits. There was a full recap if last week's Buy/Sell/Hold picks (previous score was 4-2 Chris). The show was capped on PredictIt trades. Come laugh with us.

We are mixing it up.....New episodes will now be released on Mondays at 8am and Fridays at 8am. On Monday's episodes we will continue our standard show with all the segments such as Buy/Sell/Watch, and PredictIt. We will recap the previous week's results before we make our new picks for the week. On the new Friday episodes we will be focusing on current related news, and market news as well as discuss whatever is on our mind at the time and really mix it up and cover a bunch of topics. We will also use the Friday epsiode to release our interviews, so keep an eye out for them.

On today's episode the boy's are joined by a special guest......Paul McBride, Chris's dad on Father's Day. Paul McBride has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, but is a jack of all trades. He owns three small businesses from designing mining equipment to storage units. He is also an avid investor/owner of real estate, and is hobby stock trader. The discussion goes into all of those subjects. We discuss the current real estate climate, and tips for new people who are looking to get into real estate investment. We discuss Covid-19's effect on small business, as well as any trades Paul is looking to get into in the near future, even discuss breifly him getting started in cryptocurrency mining. You don't want to miss this conversation, there is a lot of good tips on stock trading, investing, and general business. Following the interview the boy's hop back into their regular topic. We recap our Buy/Sell/Watch picks from last week as well as pick our picks for the upcoming week. The score remains 4 to 2 Chris. The boy's finish up the episode with some live PredictIt trades. The boy's are back for another week of swing trading. It is raining Chris hopes that is not a sign of the week to come in the market. The boys tackle the subject everyone dreads in the educational segment: Taxes. The new Buy/Sell/Watch stocks are picked for the week, Chris leads 4-2. News from last week is discussed including: Chinese government infiltration, and how all the pansies are afraid of Dave Portnoy. GO PRES GO!! Also, Jon introduces PredictIt a place where you can "trade" things you would normally bet such as who will win the election, will Hillary get charges, etc which you can trade like stocks. All shares are less the $1. This sparked a new segement, so everyone get on PredictIt and tweet, or comment your picks @Swinginit on Twitter, or to Chris or Jon on another platform.

Welcome back to "Just Swingin' It." It was a major down week in the market and only one person is cheering.........Jon. On today's episode Jon had his day finally after listening to Chris dominate for a few weeks. The boy's discuss "dividends" and "div/yield" and shartre their thoughts and stratgies on long term investing. There was a recap of the Buy/Sell/Watch segment...going into this week Chris was up 4-1, can Jon even up the score? The major news for the week will be discussed on Monday's episode, and only one news story is discussed...........Jerome Powell being a bastard and tanking the market and Chris is done with him.

The boy's are back with Chris coming live from his back porch at his new house. The reason there was no episode last Friday or Monday morning was due to Chris getting moved in to his new place as well as needing time to get the internet going, but it all got worked out and WE ARE BACK!! On today's episode the boy's educate everyone on some very important terms: Earnings Call, Earnings Per Share (eps), and P/E Ratio. The Buy/Sell/Hold stocks are recapped from last week. Chris dominated the week taking both points and is up 4-1 on the quarter. The new Buy/Sell/Hold picks are set for this week. The crazy market last week was discussed and Chris made a 65%+ profit last week trading airline options, and looks to keep the profits coming this week. On today's episode of the "Just Swingin' It" podcast Jon is BACK, and the boy's discuss differences between "Book Value" and "Market Capitilization (Market Cap)," and how to use these values when picking stocks to trade. The stocks for the Buy/Sell/Hold competition are chosen for the week, Chris leads 2-1 going into week 3. Elon Musk's baby SpaceX shuttle docked autonomously, (with astronauts aboard) with the international space station on Sunday morning, how this relates to Tesla stock is dug into. Many of the news stories from Friday's episode is reanalyzed thus giving Jon the opportunity to provide his 2 cents as well.  It's a new week in the market, and the Small Futures Exchange is now life and can be traded by a handful of brokerage accounts, with many more coming. Keep Swingin' It!

On this week's Friday episode of the "Just Swingin' It" podcast Jon was unavailbale, so Chris is Swingin' It solo. He may not have knocked it out of the park, but he at least hit a double. The boy's will be back together for the Monday episode. Still a great episode you do not want to miss. First thing is first, the boy's give credit where credit is due.....the listeners as they learned that "Just Swingin' It" has been reviewed and picked up by iTunes and Apple Podcasts a great step, huge thanks to the Swingers. On the episode Chris educates everyone on the importance of volume when looking at what stocks to buy, as well as comparing different companies within an industry. Some important volume criteria that Chris learned in his early trading stage was passed on to all the beginners out there listening to the podcast. The market week was recapped in Market Minutes (excuse the fact that Chris kept referring to Monday through Friday, when actually this week was Tuesday through Friday..........yal get it). The boy's are back for a Friday episode where they recap the performance of the market this week as well as their personal performances for the week. Chris had the best week of his trading career and is up big, but shares an important lesson of paying attention. . Jon teaches everyone about the different types of traders: long term investors, swing traders, and day traders in stock jargon with Jon. Theres a recap of the buy/sell/hold picks of the week and an update on the score. There was a lot of big news in the stock market these week for the guy's to discuss and Elon Musk continues to garnish news attention with his Twitter account. In honor of this the boy's bring on special guest Will Shaffer and he and Jon compete to choose which ridiculous tweet came from Elon Musk's twitter.
