October 02, 2018 JTOL0066 Paypal Terminated My Account
PayPal permanently suspended my JTOL account in August in accordance with their Acceptable Use Policy. I was not given an exact reason why. It does not make any sense considering which media personalities also use PayPal. I am hoping for some resolution as it is possible they tried to reach me when I was outside of the United States. As of this time, I still haven’t received a response.

October 02, 2018 JTOL0065 SO MUCH FOR SCIENCE
Science should not serve any agenda BUT the pursuit of knowledge, at least that’s what I was taught when I learned about science and the scientific method. Then why do distinguished professors have to publish their work in hiding, keep mum, and why are students being taught that controversial topics that ask legitimate questions cannot be studied? And why is this important at a time when legal standards and cultural mores are being cemented surrounding these topics? I dig deep!

Concerning the OKAY SIGN and Monkey this up debacles, there were a few terms that kept popping up as people talked about them, including gas-lighting and dog-whistles. Let’s talk about them.

July 21, 2018 JTOL0062 Applying to YouTube’s Affirmative Action Contest
I applied to YouTube’s #YouTubeBlack contest, the New York version of its NextUp contest to help YouTube Creators grow their channels, with a focus on supporting Black and Latino viewers and creators. This was after my initial reaction knowing that I am not keen on programs that box people into racial categories by default, even in efforts to help, and knowing that YouTube is not keen on supporting my channel or responding to it after my concerns about censorship. However, after some feedback, I thought it might be useful to send an application in anyway and speak my truth!
